Imagine digging around in a dusty, moldy basement of some tenement in Italy and discovering an old box of demos with one obliquely marked "1976" and brandishing only song titles such as "Night Takes All," "Land of Phantoms" and "No Coming to the Light." You might be lead to confuse this with some long-lost Paul Chain demo, but this was, in fact, the sound of PYTHON's debut album, Serpent Superstition. Now arrives the likewise presciently titled Astrological Warfare, the second full-length from from native New Yorkers with old roots drilling through to Italian soils. PYTHON is not kids playing genre exercises, but rather a decrepit, lusty, distant, and coiling analog occult rock fueled by old legend. Dutifully recommended for fans of old Paul Chain, The Black(Italy), and The Mezmerist

    Released by: :AJNA: and Annapurna
As summed up by the fine folks at Klaxon, "Ginzo night at the Thelemite love in, $3 beer and a shot after midnight. Casual backdoor occultism, doom and sorcery straight from Staten Island, Sicily. The cave delay lechery is lustfully spread across four sides. Don’t wait for an apology."

Includes unlimited streaming of Astrological Warfare via the free Bandcamp app, plus high-quality download in MP3, FLAC and more.

I've come to the conclusion That this life is illusion You wonder why When its time to die That it's all a lie To the naked eye Draw the signs It will take time But I'll be fine Stick to your guns Watch the dying suns It's better to say That I'll get my way ...and darkness is here to stay Do you know when it ends? Will there be any friends? Time will tell 'Cause life is hell!

No Tomorrow 05:24
It's coming from all angles Sleepless nights At every hour, every day... Never ending fights Cards do not lie Time to turn on the third eye Look deep into her soul Confusion, chaos takes it all You wonder why my venom stings Just look to tetragrammaton Hidden in thy ring Everyday might be the last Physical world around us Needs to crash Tune you out... Jump back in... This how my world has been I'd rather be full throttle In case there's no... Tomorrow!
